G. Edward Powell, Jr. is the Executive Chairman of OvidDx. Dr. Powell has been CEO of multiple venture-backed companies helping drive innovation across multiple industries. Dr. Powell has deep domain knowledge of applications of AI to various industries including healthcare, higher educations, and insurance. He is an inventor on over 20 US patents. For eight years prior to moving to the commercial sector, he was a research scientist at MIT. Powell holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
